1. Extend The Text box
Each placeholder box has a boundary. You can drag the corners of the text box to increase its size. This will ensure that more text fits into the text box.

The templates usually use font size 24 for text. You can change the font size to 22px or 20px to reduce the font size.

3. Change the Font Style
There are fonts that are narrower in width and use less space. You will find them names as 'Arial Narrow' or 'Archivo Narrow' etc.

4. Revise the original text
Sometimes the original text is copied from a document or a long-ish bullet point sentence. In such cases, revising can reduce the amount of text.
5. Add Additional Text Boxes
If you have a lot more text to be added to the slide, you can copy or duplicate (Shortcut : Ctrl + D) an existing text box. Then add in your text into the new box!
