Learn to create custom animated slide for presenting agenda in PowerPoint. Highlight one point at a time to draw the attention of your business audience.
Here is the animated agenda slide in PowerPoint you’ll learn to create:
Click PLAY button to View each Animation Step by Step
On click, just one point pops up in front. This allows the presenter to talk about the point in detail. On the next click, the next point pops up while the earlier point goes back to its position. This is a useful way to present any numbered list in a presentation. Let us see how to create the effect from scratch.
Step 1: Set up the animation
Write your text in bullet points in the text place holder. Select all the points and go to custom animation pane. Under ‘Emphasis’ effects add ‘Grow/Shrink’ effect. This makes the text to grow to 150% by default. Let the start be ‘on click’ and the speed be ‘Fast’. Select all the points once again and add ‘Grow/shrink’ animation again. This time, right click on the animation events on the pane and go to ‘Effect options’. Let the size be 67%. This shrinks the text back to its original size.
Here is the screen shot of the animation pane:

Step 2: Set up the start option
Here is a small trick we employ to make the text pop out while the previous text goes back to its position. We move the ‘Shrink’ effects next to ‘Grow’ effects.Take a look at the changes we made to the ‘start’ positions of the animation events in the pane:
The trick is to shrink a point while the next point grows simultaneously using ‘with previous’ option. The result will be the animation you saw at the beginning of this article. You can have as many points on your list as you need. The process of animating the points remains the same.
Thus, with a bit of imagination, you can create some interesting animated agenda slides for your business presentations.
